How does the coffee become decaffeinated?
The method Bergstrands uses, ie the “carbon dioxide process”, has proven to be better at retaining the fats and aromas that give coffee its characteristic taste. The caffeine is separated from the carbon dioxide and recycled until the caffeine content is less than 0.1 %.
