Johan & Nyström Brazil Fortaleza is exceptionally balanced coffee with distinctive tones of chocolate, hazelnut and caramel. Works also well as espresso.

The family Croce owns and has driven Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza in more than a hundred years. When Marcos Croce took over the operation, about ten years ago, he saddled on to the farm to do an ethical pattern farm with clear environmental focus. He also created a network of coffee-farming neighbors and friends who share his vision and believe in the true coffee quality. Through this network of small-scale coffee farmers in the region Mococa market and export exceptional coffee roasters dedicated like us.

The coffee to our Fortaleza is the result of Marcos and his closest neighbors combined efforts. The plantation stretches of between 900 – 1400 meters altitude and cultivating coffee types of Bourbon, Mundo Novo and Catuai.

Johan & Nyström has cooperated with Croce family for several years now and they are extremely grateful to be able to be a contributing part of sustainable coffee growing in this vast region of coffee while the coffee tastes so good!
